  • 2 tins of small Kaviari sardines in olive oil
  • 100g labneh
  • 2 small preserved lemons
  • A few sprigs of chives
  • 1 tbsp of lemon juice and zest
  • 1 tbsp wholegrain mustard
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • 1 baguette or slices of Poilâne bread
  • 15g butter for toast

Preparation

Crush the sardines and mix with the labneh, mustard, lemon juice and zest.

Chop the chives and finely chop the preserved lemon. Season with pepper.

Butter the toast and arrange the sardine rillettes.

Serve with a dry white wine (Chablis, Montrachet).
