Baby Turnips with Caviar
For this springtime recipe, the turnips retain a very tender texture.
Caviar sweetens the bitterness. Choose caviar with a soft mouthfeel, such as Kristal®.
Fall turnips, like winter root vegetables, go well with caviar, which adds a touch of saltiness, softness and mellowness.
Wash turnips and trim leaves.
Place the turnips in a pot of boiling salted water and cook until tender.
Halve the turnips and arrange on a plate.
Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper and garnish with caviar.
